The Buff Chat badges discussed in this thread are now available!

The badges are available in two die-struck designs, each approximately ¾" across:

Coloured:

The light lines are raised, and finished in gold.

Non-coloured:

The light lines are raised, the darker areas are recessed sandblasted metal. Finished in gold.

Cost

One badge costs £2.00, including postage and packaging. If you buy more than one, each additional badge costs £1.75.

is there any chance should you make a profit on these it would be nice if it went to your PGP charity, I think it would give an incentive for brothers to get extra non members one's and sell them on

Thanks for the suggestion about donating any profits to the PGP's Appeal.

Although I did consider using this for the PGP's Appeal, I decided in the end not to. This community is open to all members of the Order, and I thought that having the badges just for the benefit of one Province's Appeal would be unfair. Also, I didn't want this community to be associated with one Province, as it is open to all.

Any profits made from the sale of these badges will help pay for the hosting costs (as this is not free), and I will use the remainder for advertising the site (maybe an advert in the RAOB Quarterly Journal, along with some on-line advertising). This way, sales of the badges help to promote and develop the community, and will hopefully increase the membership.

I hope the membership of this community understand the reasons behind my decision.

Per my previous mesage on the  subject - please have one for me when I come to UK during Ramadan!  I'll also try to promote in our lodge in Audi Sarabia, so maybe I'll have multiple orders.

"PayPal" [smiley=thumbdown.gif] - they won't accept Mid-East credit card  payments.  I think it's and "American thing", to do with the "War on Terror". Bloody "Dubbyah and Bliar",  How the hell stopping me from bidding on eBay p1$$es off Osama beats me!.  However, there's a system called Moneybookers (www.moneybookers.com) that takes my cards.  Not sure how you collect he money but someone recently took out a moneybookers accout just so they could take my (US$20) cash - must be easy!

Yes, badges of both styles are still for sale. I will get another advert put on eBay (if you would like to buy through there), or you can just let me know how many you want, and I will get them in the post to you.

By the way - does anyone know how you advertise for more than 10 days on eBay? I have seen ads for up to 100 days duration before, but my adverts only allow up to 10 days to be selected
