Grand Primo 2008 & His Officers

The Grand Primo for 2008, Bro JJ Wilson, ROH (pictured right) has selected the OURS fund as his chosen Appeal for the year. You can help support his appeal by visiting www.buy.at/gp08

In a statement, the Grand Primo says "I believe that the foremost aim of a Grand Primo is to consentrate his efforts on strengthening the order and leave it at the end of his year of office in a much better shape."

In the group of Buffs that I know here in the Mid East I sense a feeling that there is those that either do not give or give little to GL funds but are more than generous otherwise. I do not know the reasons for this does anyone else have the same.

I think it may have a lot to do with the them and us attitude of grand lodge.

i hope someone will sort out this rift with the gle ltd in this area we help each other out and if we were not doing this a number of lodges would close as the state of the order as it is we should be all pulling together brothers!

If only the GL website was more in touch with the real world.Elect officers and the minor lodges don't know what they look like in March? Huh?

Its a shame that the website is not kept up to date, officers details and investitures have not been put on the site and its nearly the end of May. No one seems to be looking at the guest book from GL, maybe they should be doing more there as well as brothers do ask questions there and maybe we can get some brothers back in the order.
Congratulations to the GP on the appeal for OURs, lets hope he gets the support it deserves.

I hope this Grand primo will try to do something to try to end the rift between the GLE and GLE ltd .We have lost enough Lodges over disputes .I have no trust with our Grand Lodge i think we need a new younger Grand Lodge who care about the order and will do something to promote this fantastic order I would like to hear other Brothes coments ThaNKS BrO RAy CP
